Ganghui Yi

I'm a research intern at BML Lab in CBNU, where I am fortunate to be advised by Prof. Kyuri Jo. My current research focuses on developing a MAML-based few-shot learning model pre-trained on TCGA to predict underrepresented diseases and identify biomarkers through DGE analysis and pathway integration, using XAI for interpretability. I have recently completed Google Korea Machine Learning Bootcamp, further honing my skills in machine learning.

Previously, I received my bachelor from Sogang University in Seoul, where I double majored in Computer Science and Life Science. During my undergrad, I participated in an exchange program at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH.

MAML-based few-shot learning model for multi-omics disease classification enables superior performance in low-data settings across COVID-19, Cirrhosis, and HBV-HCC.

Miscellanea

I'm into film photography. My main gear is Nikon FE2 with 35mm(mainly) and 50mm.
I also love sports. I enjoy going to the gym, swimming and playing basketball.

Although my name might sound Chinese, I'm actually Korean—but fun fact, I did live in China for five years!
