Ganghui Yi

I'm a research intern at BML Lab in CBNU, where I am fortunate to be advised by Prof. Kyuri Jo. My research leverages MAML pre-trained on TCGA data for few-shot learning in non-cancer diseases, aiming to discover multiomics biomarkers through Differential Gene Expression (DGE) analysis, with a focus on interpretable machine learning and explainable AI (XAI). I'm also honing my skills at Google Korea Machine Learning Bootcamp.

Previously, I received my bachelor from Sogang University in Seoul, where I double majored in Computer Science and Life Science. During my undergrad, I participated in an exchange program at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH.

My research interests are AI for healthcare, applied machine learning and bioinformatics.

Miscellanea

I'm into film photography. My gear is Nikon FE2 with 50mm(mainly) and 35mm.
I also love sports. I enjoy going to the gym, swimming and playing basketball.

Although my name might sound Chinese, I'm actually Korean—but fun fact, I did live in China for five years!
